Its with great honour that I take over from Paul as Chairman of the club . I would like to put on record my thanks for the 7 years hard work Paul put it during his time as Chairman , i'm sure that is echoed by the rest of our members . 

I know the club is in safe hands with our wonderful committe members who all work hard to make  Denton West a better and safer place to enjoy events on and off the field 

As we enter into this new era , we still have uncertianty surrounding the current proposed development on surrounding land to the club , leaving us in a state of  'limbo' . We will all keep an eye on how that one goes , but our immediate task is the up and coming cricket season that starts on 21st April ! Lots of preparation to do on and off the field , lets hope for some decent weather in the next few weeks. 

We have recently entered into an agreement with Marstons brewery that see us taking some different 'tastes' off them , in particualr bitters and wines for the new season . 

We are also introducing a memebrship card system that will give our members reduced rates behind the bar . 

Sponsorships ranging from ball sponsorships to ground sponsorship are availble to all , with news of these to be posted on social media in the coming days .

We intend to run a promotional night in the next few weeks at which new members are welcome , exisitng members to renew , sponsorships to secure etc etc , . In return for your generosity  we will be offering 2 free drinks on the night .....  dont tell our treasuer though :-) .  Again more information to follow in the next few days , in the meantime lets hope for some sunshine and hope to see you all soon
