Everyone at Denton West CC gives condolences to the Hicklin family following Jack's passing this week.

Jack has been a great neighbour to us on Windsor Park for more years than most of us can remember and has cared for his patch and the horses with great pride and passion for such a long time. Jack has helped us by keeping the trees and fences on the lane in great order, helping us with machinery repairs and occassionally providing us with big machines needed for some tough jobs but many of us will especially remember the times when we have called on him day and night to get those big horses off the field when someone at the club has left a gate open or a fence has been vandalised. 

Always a gent and always a pleasure to chat to whether at a chance meeting on the lane or a few words though the fence. Jack will be missed by us all, RIP Jack.
